bought this a few weeks ago and the amps i purchased it wont work with them

it's been burped one time

has a special quad .8 aluminum flat wound coil - dual spiders and a 12 spoke basket - Mint conditon

looking to get $225 shipped within the US

i don't care about SQ, i'm only interested in RE subs because i hear they are loud, and i want the XXX, because it is supposed to be the loudest.

Will i be able to notice the difference between the two subs?

also, you said, and i noticed in your pictures, that this isn't a normal HC, can it take more power.

yeah it has a different coil and spiders etc. made to take more power (ie mtx 81000d per coil) for burps..

why wouldn't it not be great? wire the 2 coils in series (do the same with the other 2) and then take the 2 pair and wire it in parallel to get a total of 1ohm. should work great with the 35.1

1600 watts should be enough for almost anything it doesn't take much more than 900 watts to get these things going.

The last question i have:

will this "custom" HC outperform an XXX?

i want the louder of the two. you may not have even heard this HC, but, if it is going to outperform in SPL (don't care about SQ), then this is my sub. I only want the louder of the two.

no need for break in i think. i don't believe break in should be required at all. if you have felt the spider, it doesn't "stretch" out like other spiders. with or without break in...the sub should handle almost any abuse. take a look at my other thread where i stood on the RE SE

cool beans man. i'm waiting on a proper wire setup and fuse so i can play my subs and amp the way they were meant to be played. right now i have a 60 amp fuse to my MMATS d300hc it sucks.
