RE Audio SX Amplifier

I was wondering what amplifier I should use to power a 12" RE Audio SX subwoofer. I am very interested in hifonics (i know they are overrated) because of their price. I have around $225 shipped to spend on an amp and was wondering what my best choice would be. I am interested in the Hifonics TX1505D (http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_4097.html) and was wondering how good of a match that would be for my subwoofer? Thanks alot.

yea would work well... would give you 12-1300rms i'm thinkin cheaper out there though i believe

you could go with a Soundstream PCA1000D.

might be able to find a used 9.1 it would be perfect and comes with transferable warranty....marietta is my hometown

If you look on ebay for the seller scala1, they have some factory refurbished DEI Viper 1200.1 amps for like $125+shipping.

that seller is from ikesound though...and ive heard alot of problems lately coming from ikesounds direction.

ike sound has a 1605D is a great match i have one of them and an sx 12 and it says it puts out 1600 rms but people say this amp sucks i know it is putting out atleats 1300rms !! it 235 shipped new at ikesound!

just get teh Soundstream. Never have to worry about problems. I've had about 6 different SS amps and never one problem.

I would like a viper or an orion but i really dont trust ikesound and that is the only place that would be in my price range for those amps. thats 1200@2 ohms isnt it? I need it for 1 ohm
