RE audio sub question?

Really if your looking for output you want to push the sub in its top 1/3 of MAX.. if you got a 400 wrms sub its max will likely be 8.. so 575 or so would be ideal

 
Thanks for all of the info. Ive heard RE subs are some of the better subs as far as sq and out put go. Is this true?
i have 2 RE's. the 12" SE and 12" HC, love em both. the SE's in 1.12 net cubes, in my 99 Accord Sedan, it shakes my whole car with ease. had my HC in 3.6 tuned to 29hz in my Cadi, about rattled it to pieces.

at 29 hz i would say so... ouch

 
Do these perform better in ported or sealed inclosures. I know the diffrence in sound between the two and such just curiouse because i know some subs sound like sh** in sealed boxes and amazing in ported and vise versa.

nah, the SE works great sealed or ported
