DD 1008's cost more money...but they play lower and get louder than RE's...plus they hold up better....try running 900rms to an RE 8....People with single DD 1008's are doing 142's on just 3-400watts on term lab....Just thought I'd pass that info along check out the forums on http://www.ddaudio.com BTW all my scores in my signature were done with DD's
