i tape my rca wires. i wanted to know if its wort it i use electrical tape when i run the wires from my amp to my deck ive allways done this.. most of my wires are covered.

All of your wires should be taped. Use electrical tape along with using wire connectors to ensure that your wires will not come loose. I prefer to crimp down on insulated wire connectors and also tape on top.

As for regular wire splicing - solder and heat shrink.

i only do it where there is some ruff edges from car. i guess to protect in a way.

i dont cut the wires at all i dont split my signals never its when runin the wire. idk hahaha

rubber grommets > electrical tape as protection from sharp edges
