RCA Y adapter

Hello,

I have HU unit with only stereo output to subwoofer.

My sub amp is VRX 1.500 mono, which can accept only one RCA input when there is no crossover module installed inside it.

(which I don't need)

can I use Y adapter - two female to one male in order to

combine the two RCA output of my HU to one RCA output?

is it possiable? is it might damage the RCA outputs?
