RCA with built in turn on?

all that built in turn on lead is, is a small wire attached to the rca's. The rca's themselves are normal...they just have another wire attached to them. Which to me is fairly inconvenient because I've never seen an amp with the Power/Gnd/Remote terminals near the rca jacks...they're usually on opposite sides, so you'd have to splice another wire into it....

Well, is the rest of the kit quality? I could just buy a seperate length of smaller wire to use as a lead? Or can you recommend a different kit? I don't want to get a shitty one but at the same time I don't need the best.

Just ordered that kit like 2 hours ago lol. I would say id let you know how it is but i wont have it till probly the end of the week. My last wiring was the same thing except 1/0 gauge (didnt get the built in turn on) and the wire was great quality for the price, loved it so the 4g should satisfy me.

Also I already have like a 18g remote lead already in my truck so if it doesnt work ill just use that, not hard to run.

Knu makes good stuff. That kit should be fine...and if the rca's already have the turn on wire built in, don't worry about running a different one. If the one on the rca's doesn't reach your terminal, just lengthen it with a little wire of your own and be done.

I never cared for RCA's w/ built in remote. But the ones w/ drain wires are the shit.

I sell 18ft w/ drain at the shop for $10, no noise, EVER.

EDIT:

But I have seen other local shops kill amp inputs and HU's by using drain-wires on RCA's as remotes, lol.
