RCA Voltage

You'll have to play with the magnification (I doubt that's what it's called) because you'll be dealing with 0-5V most likely.

Also, you'll need to play a test tone at high volume for you to see that sinewave anywhere near what the preout voltage is rated at.

Edit: I saw you're doing this for setting gains. I haven't watched EXO's video mylows linked you in your other thread, but if you're using negative dB test tones be sure to use 0 dB while setting your head unit, then the negative one at the amp. If you use a negative dB toneat both points you'll end up with gain settings higher than you want.

 
Volume at 35/35 max ground on outer ring and positive on center pin 1khz tone at 0db multimeter on AC voltage.
Ground to a different metal in the car and get the positive on the rca pin.

If it works you may have a headunit grounding issue.
