RCA Splitter

Is there anyway to have the right balance when using rca splitters? i split my front rca with dynex rca splitter, but i can't get the balance right. the only way to have the right balance is to use the rca splitter and two more pairs of rcas.

i currently have a type r 6.5 and a jl xr 5.25 comps in the front.

whenever i balance my sound to the left, the jls would play on both sides and not the type r on the left. vice versa when balanced to the right.

i was thinking of this, but i guess not.

IF you want the left side to play only the left side of speakers have the FL output go to ONE amp only, and run the left side of the speakers go to that amp, and vice versa on the other side.

Im not 100% what you are asking, but if im right... The little diagram you drew would work. If you want the left and right balance to work on your deck. You just plug in a splitter to each channel, left and right. And then put two RCAs on each channel.. Basically what your pic shows.. Then again not 100% what your saying..

hmm well i was trying to use the punch to run the type r because of power wattage, but that is a good idea.

yea it's what i was asking, but i wanted to avoid using more rcas. i could try nismos14's way though.

however, it's a pain to rewrite again //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

im guessing it would be ok like that? i would like my wirings to be wired correctly, but if it's not gonna affect the system then i wont bother with it for a while.

that sucks, never installed an equalizer before. what's the advantage to it? do i just get any equalizer for my deck?

If you dont want to run rca's from front to back, then you could put the splitter in the back next to the amp and just use shorter rca cables.. Wouldnt have to go through running more cables..

already did that, i split the rca into two so i can run each under both my seats, all im using now is one rca and two splitters. i'll just leave it like that for a little while till i rewrite everything when i upgrade or go with a different setup.

thanks guys

Hey, if your asking what I think you are and your trying to run aftermarket speakers off an amp I would get a four channel amp with front and rear rca cables going to that. And for the sub I would just split your power cable and get a two channel amp and run it off that. Let me know if you need me to explain that a little better.
