RCA "plug" stuck inside of amp

no jk. but cerealously - **** on it
And don't forget to record it and put it on youtube.

If you actually managed to get it out that way and then choked on it or something, I know I'd want to see it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

i want to somehow turn around the **** and make it blow and shoot shit but that looks hard.

toothpick maybe? open the amp and see what it looks like from the other side. maybe you can just push it back through.

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif i saw a similar thread to this a while back //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

There is a way to push it through the back, but there's a big blue block that 's blocking the hole to push it. The block is solder from the underside. Is it okay to unsolder it from the back, and then resolder it from the back again? I'm just worried about doing the whole solder thing from the underside. That's the only way to get to the hole in order to push it out.

Will I be able to unsolder and resolder a chip from the other side of the circuit board, since the chip lays flat on the surface of its side?

open amp

push out the broken pin from the inside.

it should be hollow.
I did open the amp up. I even took out the small piece of circuit board that the RCA inputs were on. And you're right, it is hollow, but there's a big chip behind the hole though. The chip flat on the circuit board and the only way to take it out is by unsoldering it from the other side.

My question is, can I unsolder it from the other side, and then resolder it from the other side, without causing any damage to the amp.

u should be able to use a tiny drill bit

drill into it and pull the bit out

if the inside of the rca isnt metal, you can usea needle that you can heat uup w a lighter, stick into the pin and pull it out that way.

other than that you have to start removing stuff from the board.

the blue box that you speak of likely has a pot on it, right?

i wouldnt remove that....id remove the rca connecter instead, them pull the pin out, and resoldier the rca connecter ack to the board.

The RCA inputs is on a small circuit board, connected to the big circuit board by 3 screws. I took the small circuit board out from the amp already.

The needle way doesn't seem to work. I will have to try unsoldering the RCAs then.

The blue box doesn't have a "pot" on it or whatever. It's just as tall as the RCA inputs and is right behind the hole. It's just a normal rectangle that's about 1/2" tall and has some numbers on it.
