RCA questions: are they all equal?

Just that, are all RCA's the same?

I have some older looking ones that work fine, but if I'm going for more SQ should I change them out with newer, better ones, or are they all the same and all those advertisements just a scam when company's claim there RCA's are better than others.

If theres no noise with your old ones theres little reason to get new ones unless the RCA's will be in a show type of system where appearance is important.

However, if you do end up buying new ones, don't get the cheapest ones out there. You don't need thousand dollar RCA's, but get some decent ones.

I went with the $30 kicker 4 channel ones....kicker is a legit brand so they're good quality (not walmart or flea market quality)
