RCA problem

I was driving down the road today and the sub just stopped playing. so i pull over and check it out. everything is still firmly connected. the amp is on and looks fine, just the analog needles arent moving at all. so i figure its the signal from the deck. I switched the rca's with the speaker amp rca's and still nothing. Switched it from the sub-outs to the rear amp preouts and still nothing. So im assuming it has something to do with the rca's near the amp or even the amp itself. any ideas?

ok..sub connections are secure. amp powers up. it plays fine when i plug it into an ipod. no idea whats wrong..when i drive over a bumpy road, the sub pops and crackles..any ideas?

i actually cant figure this shit out. the amp registers no signal. can i use a dmm on the rca outputs from the deck to figure out if im getting any signal?

Thats exactly what was going on with my old Pioneer. Ended up having to get a new deck and was told the preouts on the deck were gone. Wth me it was only the front and rears that did it while the subwoofer out played fine.

i have a panasonic. ive been using it for 2 years now. So am i looking at no more outputs? o well...new deck time i guess.
