RCA cables = red or blue?

I have some extra stuff leftover from my cheap scosche amp installation kit. i just went out and bought some new RCA cables because I cut my old set of RCA cables because they got stuck when trying to pull them out of my old car and i cant crimp the ends together. I am in the process of putting all of my stuff in my new car, and is almost done . well, i thought that the rca cables are always red and clear, but am i wrong? O forgot that i had a basically free set of cables in my closet. if i can use the non packaged rca cables then i can return the $20 rockford ones. thanks!

wire is wire man. they are color coded so you can remember what one is left and right. its like putting a red X on your right hand so you can remember, "uhh. this is my right hand"

I only use red and white RCA's in my installs...

Actually, I can't remember the last time I used red and white, lately its been blue/silver and black/silver
