RCA and Remote wire question

I am starting my first install this weekend. My plan is to deaden the entire vehicle and install the new head unit this weekend. Can I run my RCA's and remote wire even thought the amps will not be installed until next weekend? The reason I ask is there is some current involved and I don't want to short out the head unit. Thanks.

yes, i would electrical tape the open ends in the back until you get your amps installed though
