RCA 4 Sub Amp - Can I use HU hid range output? Or split the woofer output?

Having som trouble getting much bass out of my setup (4 15's on 2 1ohm amps) Since I have 3 rca outputs on my deck i decided to run one to my speaker amp, and use the other 2 outputs off my deck to run each of the subs. So one amp has the actual sub output and the other is using one of the other outputs (forget which)

Would this affect anyting?

I was debating just splitting the rcas for the subwoofer output if thats what was needed.....

dont know if its makes a difference....

you would want to split the subout at the amps... do not use the front or rear rca with the subout. bad idea. i think this is what your asking. are your speakers in phase. check at the amp terminals what ohm load your getting for the pairs.

you need a dmm set to ohms.. take the red on the dmm to the pos. and the black on the dmm to neg from where your speaker wires go into the amp.. and see what your meter reads.. see if it reads what ohms your supposed to be at...you have something wired wrong bro.

andmm set to what setting, Ive got a unit that has the 2 probes and alot of functions on the dial but Ive never used any of them other than voltage, what symbol is for checking ohms....
