Rare CD Deck problem?

Ok I've looked all over the net for a solution and couldn't find anyone with this same problem. I don't know if I have it set up horribly wrong but im pretty **** sure Its set up right because ive had several people that have set up cd decks in their own car look at mine and said it should work but it doesn't so maybe someone on here will know whats going on.

When my car is completely off, my stereo is on. When doing so, all my speakers play the music just fine. This is the only way we have gotten it to play music. When I start my car, the cd player resets and it still gets power, and says its playing the music, but you can't hear anything. We thought maybe the speakers were going through something in the car that was causing some kind of interference but we have used other speakers to test to see if that was the case and it was not so. We have done different setups where the cd player only has power when you turn the ignition so that your dash comes on and stuff, and in this case the cd player comes on too but the cd player again doesnt play music. We can't figure out whats going on because the player is getting power, and has the capability to play when the car is off, nothing is changing when the car is on, so why wouldnt the cd player work?

Any help would be amazing.

Your power wires are switched your yellow wire should always be getting power and your red wires should only get power while key is turned. AIM me at reimermatt if you need more help. Also are you running any amps?
