Hard to find PG Elite Ti 12. Even more rare is the SPL stop assembly straight from PG before the AmpAmerica buyout. Both in excellent condition, both still pretty stiff. Under rated and power hungry. The 1.5kw - 2kw power range seems more appropriate.

Also a great review comparing the 12w7 to the pg ti elite. Reviewer noted that the PG sounded WAY better than the JL 12w7. He said the w7 was a little loud in a direct swap, but that the PG also seemed under powered and could probably take much more. If you have the extra power for the PG I"m sure the output will match or exceed the 12w7. (also alot of install dependent variables too, box size etc..). The good stuff comes in on post #15.

Item(s) Description/Condition:

American made goodness here, 3in voice coils. The SPL coil is a dual 3.4ohm dcr, and the standard coil is a dual 2.8ohm dcr. SPL coil is rated to take more power, and has only seen a low power burp for testing. The stand acoil was ran off 1kwof clean old school pg power and beat like a champ. Everything works flawlessly, and everything is in outstanding condition. The standard coil with the Ti cone has the blue LED's like the amps, 12v terminals are on the side of the basket along with the coil terminals.

The tops detach much like the old memphis mojo's. There's 10 easily accessible bolts for the spiders, and a few bolts for the terminals and wallah, field changeable. No gluing or bullshit. The standard coil is rated 1000w rms, but is very under rated. The spl coil can take more abuse. Some people claim the standard will take 2kw of clean power all day. I'd get a 2kw amp and conservatively raise the gain until it sounds just right //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.

Here's a really good few words from Audio_phil about his old elite 12's. I'm sure with more juice the output would have been notably higher. Everyone says they are power hungry, so it's good to have the juice on tap that it wants.

I'd keep this Ti 12 if it weren't for the 8layer 4in coil 4hp beast I already have in my daily //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.

Price:

300+ ship OBO. The closer to central FL you are the better deal I can cut. Please note this is the same equipment posted by whitenoise on the pg forum back in march of this year. So that is no longer available through him, and I'm asking a better price anyways //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.
