Oh yeah, I forgot, I chose to be there. Yup, I wanted to go there. All 3 tours. Bet you ask any of the guys over there and about 90% will tell you they have zero desire to be there, and zero faith in the fact that the mission is actually a good one to pursue. We go because we are told to go. Not because we choose to go, not because we want to go, because we are told to go. That is what I was getting at here. If you're told to do something that isn't immoral or illegal, do it, then if you thought you were treated unfairly, bring it up to someone higher up. It may be a stupid part time job, but it is a job you said you would do and are getting paid for.

Nope, joined of my own free will. Before all this nonsense started. But last time I checked, I swore "to defend the constitution of the United States" not to "liberate" every stupid little poonjab country that comes around.

I work for Lowe's and I love it. I have been there for four years and I probably won't quit anytime soon. As for the quoted post, our store manager brings home over $100k if he bonuses, not too bad.
As for OP, if the "manager" is a zone, you may get written up for that. But probably not. We are so desparate for help it, you were probably covering 2 - 4 departments that night.

Since you work at lowes then youll know what im talking about, he is a zone manager, but he isent my departments zone manager, and he was the M.O.D that night, but that still dosent give him the right to tell me when i leave that night.. my schedule is already predetermined beforehand and he cant change that on me unwillingly without any notice

I mean a lot of people would give a left nut these days to have a job and cant, but you take it for granted and want to just quit because some manager has some beef with ya. I left at 10 again. He came up to me today and was like So buddy, you left early yesterday, and i reiterated that i was supost to work till 10 not 11, and he just didnt beleive me and called bullshit.. and then he was like "ill see you till 11 tonight" and i said no, im working till 10 again... and he basically went on with the same old shit saying its not on the master schedule and im here till 11.. so i went to my manager and told her to tell this dude that im working till 10, not 11.. so she went up to him and tried to tell him that im working those hours instead, and he told her that she didnt have the authority to change peoples schedules without notice and that i was stuck here till 11 ( thats a classic move of him trying to give me the shaft and **** me over even though my manager said im out at 10 ) so anyway, yeah.. i left at 10 no matter what he said
