i saw a sample of this product today. i compared it to dynamat extream. the foil on the dynamat was thicker the the black gummy look the same. this stuff cost $89.99 for 100 sq ft. see what yall think.

(dynamat ex cost app. $120.00 for 36 sq ft. big diff. in cost)

i would just stick with the dynamat extreme. Mite pay a lil more for it but it does its job efficiently

i personally would go with second skin. While yes it can cost a lot more per sq footage than most of the other companies but a little of their product goes a lot further than any other product out there.

dynamat extreme is a great product though and if it fits your budget by all means get it. I personally would be leary of the stuff you posted though

this is true.

If you really want to try it out, just order one of their 1sq ft packages and see if its good stuff or no good. This way your only out a couple bucks if its not

i got to play around with the sample today. it is actually easier to apply than dynamat because the foil is thinner. 2 layers would be thicker than 1layer of dynamat.

that foil plays a pretty big factor in it though from what i have read. I forget why though?

I will say when i used some dynamat I will agree that the foil on it was a bit of a b!tch making it somewhat difficult to install in my door panel. I would heat each piece up a little with a blow torch to soften them so it would be a little easier to maneuver around in tight areas.
