RAM and blankets

without thinking, i put some RAM on my blankets.... now will anything be messed up? its for a future computer project, and i dont have a MOBO to test it out on.... i heard static messes this stuff up.

It should be fine. I have ****ed some **** up and it still worked. One time I dropped a 1gig stick down my staircase. It still worked.

One time I got mad at work and played catch with a 512 stick...it hit the ground many, many times. LOL!

It'll be fine.... I lay stuff on the carpet etc all the time and have never had a bad part... just don't work on a computer while it's on...

Some days...well, most days we work our asses off. But on occasion I get free time and go to the game closet and play a few games. Or we throw the football down the hall. Hell, I played catch with my VP on friday.

it takes a lil more than you think to fry ram. large static charge maybe...putting it on a blanket shouldnt hurt it

X2 - I actually lay out all my hardware on my bed before starting a PC build. Never hurt anything before.

regular static wont do anything utill you create an ESD, next time you order something from newegg or wherever get a few anti static bags
