comparison wise-the rainbow slc's are on target with what other speakers? I know that in the end sound quality is going to be all relative to the end user but from everything i'm reading, these are probably gonna be the best bang for my buck especially in the range i'm looking at. Luckily i live close enough to Unexpected creations to go check them out one weekend soon.
Also, on another note, what sort of amp are people using to power these? I'm probably going to throw a pair of decent coaxials in my rear doors too so i'm lookin at a 4 channel.

What they compare to is all relative to each indivuals ears. I know Ive repaced a slew of Infinitys,DA HEX,Polks,CDTs,Bostons,etc,etc with them and noone has turned back yet.
Power range is typically in the 50+ range per side. With about 70w they will definately tease your ears, a bit more will make them truly shine. Definately not power hungry like some others..
