Rainbow SLC 265's

Do they sound good without an amp or is it really worth putting an amp with them? Also if I have a limited mounting depth do I need to make sure I have extra romm so when the back of the speaker moves?

mdf spacers. and wtf are you talking about?
I agree he just completely made himself look like an idiot.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/*******.gif.a649d21efc0d1fd4890a6428166586c1.gif

MDF Spacers, you seal them to the door, then you seal the speakers to the spacers. O' and you might want to throw some sound deadner in there to help out, just a thought. By the way sealing does not mean glue them to the door or speaker and sound deadning is not fiberglass insulation product from Lowe's.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

In my mind spacers were like large washers, I guess the mdf spacers your talking bout are like a ring the size of the speaker. Hopefully that makes sence. I do know what proper sound deadner is and I wouldnt use insulation from lowes...lol. Should I just deaden the whole door or is part of it only neccesary?
