im am goign to buy them more then likly and the guys are sundown audio have been really prompt with asnwering all of my questions so i am gettin the SAX-100.2. i just need to know will this amp push 200 watts set of speaker or just 100 to each speaker?

im thinking i go by the 100@ 4 ohms but then again im still new at this i know my sub gets 1200 @ 1 ohm but comps are different

SAX 100.2 = 2x100W @ 4 ohms. That's what your comps will get.

Why not look at the Alpine PDX-2.150, the Pioneer PRS-D2000T, or the Eclipse XA2000? Fairly small footprint full range class D with 2x150W.

k thanks i looked at all of them and i like them just wanting to try to get like 2 amps both mono and 2 channel from same place same time

I have the Rainbow CMXs running off a SAX 100.2 and they sounds great. Best sounding combo I've had, way better than the JL 300/4 I had running them before.

would this be bad to power a set of slc 265's? Hifonics ZXi 6006 or would it throw not enought or not enought good power at it?

If you're looking to save money and wanting your system to sound good doing it, why not go active?

The Mark Antony MK-800.4 on Overstock is another option. From pics that I have seen of its guts (on this forum, //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif ), it looks like a virtual twin to that 4-channel Sundown.....

The RMS rating of your components is 100 watts. The 150-watt rating that you are looking at is peak, check the data sheet on the Rainbow site. The 100.2 is more than enough power for those speakers.

They do look very similar but you will note several differences if you look closely. Note placement of the filter caps, chokes, and raised bus bars. I haven't had my hands on one of those Mark Antony amps... did they go out of business?
