all depends on the budget...I run a kicker zx 350.4 and enjoy it.

in my opinion, if you spend $450+ on speakers get some quality amp $450+

2nd'd blackmaxima's sentiments...i would add the arc audio 4150xxk to that list - you can bridge it to 320x2, or bi-amp those germanium's passive's @ 4x75w... or go active later on that same power. I love my 4150 to death. My previous amp was an Eclipse EA3422 (very clean sound) which was rated by them @ 2x140 but i suspect was more like 2x120...i wasn't happy with it though it did sound good, didn't quite have the power to push the woofers to the volumes i wanted - though the tweets get plenty loud on less than that of course //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif.

the 4150xxk is another good amp, you have the option to bi-amp 4x80w or 160x2 @4 ohms i think. not sure. too lazy to check the arc website lol
