I just picked up a set of Rainbow SLC 6.5 3-Way components. How do I verify the set is authentic? What are the tell tale signs of fake ones? Thanks!

I've heard of Focal fakes, but I don't know why anybody would make knock offs of Rainbow, I did not know they were that well known.

Got them off eBay. They weren't too cheap. They were priced ok.

LOL...that's what I was getting at, if you like the way they sound then it don't really matter. Did you see something we didn't that sent up red flags besides the seller?

seriously, hook em up and if they sound like you got your money's worth, keep them and don't look back. but if you do not think they sound like $350 ought to...ship em back!..lol I quit dealing with ebay a long time ago.
