Radio works, AUX/CD doesn't.

I had my Xplod CDX-240 in my truck, and it worked perfectly. I took it out to put it in my new car, and since my new car doesn't have an amp, the AMP REM wire was the only one I didn't connect to. But now the radio works just fine, but when I try to plug in my aux cord or play a cd, no sound comes out. When I have a CD in, it actually shows the min/seconds going up, but nothing happens. I was wondering if I made some kind of stupid mistake or not, I'd rather not go to best buy and pay them if it was something simple haha.

Sounds (or lack there of) that you have wired the power antenna instead of you remote wire, wire the remote wire to the wire you currently have your power antenna to and test that.
