Radio won't power off

I'm having problems getting my radio to shut off when I turn my car off. Does anyone know of a way to get the radio to shut off when you turn the key off without the factory switch? I tried that with the stock wire coming out from my jeep cherokee and it worked for one time and then stoped working, and yes I checked the fuses. Another weird thing is when I turn my car on and drive around a little my radio will just come on out of the blue? Weird huh.

You wired it wrong. Probably wired the switched wire from the deck to the constant wire in the car. Did you buy the proper wiring harness with the deck?
