I have a 2006 Chevy trailblazer want to install aftermarket radio amp and speakers.I see there is a few radio harness but not sure what one I need. This is a bose system but don't think it has the amp in it.It has onstar but due to it being 3 G it doesn't work do I need that fancy harness or can I get away with the standard gray one.

What kind of after market radio? And why didn't it come with a wiring harness? That's correct connector. Bose system. Are all the power wires present in one of them? red, yellow, black, blue etc. Onstar is the stock market radio that uses onstar module for the radio and steering wheel connections to the radio. Buy another after market module. Choose one that has all the features. Type in search engine, module + car radio + [ name of your car after market radio ] this should give a list of after market modules to use. Chevy is premium sounds so use a new module. 2006 blazer. Not need fancy wiring harness, just need the basic wiring input and speaker wires to it. Radio installations are almost always the same. On a trailblazer, watch out for wires connector to factory amp. Dash board lighting on the newer radio must be turned off first. Or it may pop a fuse, never get that LED light bulb back that was there with the radio. These things just happens. So disconnect the battery first before starting.
