Radio Harness Metra 70-8113.. Lexus IS300 Confirm?

Ok guys I'm installing a full system in my is300, which means i wont be using the stock amp or any stock wiring at all ill be running my own speaker wire and putting everything audio aftermarket.

Now I dont want to bypass my stock amp, I had an s2000 and your suppose to bypass it but i didnt bother and everything worked fine, all i did was wire up the ignition, power, ground, and amp turn on wire and everything worked fine, now i want to do the same exact thing for the is300.

I want a wire harness that plugs into the harness thats in the car and then i can connect the ends of the wires to the wires that come out of my headunit.

The wire harness that i have seen is the 70-8113. Can anyone confirm that this will work and will plug into the harness thats attached to the car. I havent seen many places where you can buy this, does any one know where this can be bought from? A few people have claimed it to work, im just trying to confirm that.

Also most people get the metra tyto-01 but im not going to use my stock amp and also im not spending 100 bucks on a freakin harness thats ridiculous.

if your not using your stock amp your going to need to bypass it, no need for a harness

i actually have a is300 in my family. first off, they make no dash kits. so will it be custom? second, i am not even sure they have a stock amp cuz they sound like totall *** to begin with. you would want to for sure bypass it. third, there is no room in the trunk, 1 10'' is it.

nah they make a dash kit for it, b/c i have one here fits perfectly.

yea there is a stock amp, and the trunk will fit 1 12in i tried putting the box in there and it fits

yes there is a dash kit, its not great tho, and the stock amp is located on the right of the glove box up in the dash, its a *****
