Radio got no power

Bought my 1995 Intrepid for $500 bucks and the factory radio wasn't working. Pulled it out, bought the dash kit and installed my headunit. Still no power. Traced down the problem to my ignition wire going to the stereo. I just ran a wire from the power windows in the fuse box. Think it's going to be fine with my amp remote hooked up to that wire also? And um I get a humming noise through my speakers, now since i put a bigger wire on my amp. Too much power to it?

So I installed my Majestic amp (older model). Don't have the humming noise anymore and the power wire isn't getting hot. I should be good right?
