Radio Disk does not work

Hey guys, I'm new in this forum.

I really need your help, I bought a radio disk about 2 years ago from thailand.

Sony CDX-MP850.

About 2 weeks ago it started to do problems, I went to a friend of mine who fixes radio's and he said that the flat cable got ripped and we should open it and see the serial number of the flat cable, and then I should try to get a new 1 by the serial number.

We opened it today and there was NO serial number on the flat cable.

I really need your help, anyone who knows the serial number of the flat cable of Sony CDX-MP850, please write it down, tnx.

If this is the same sort of problem that Kenwood had waaaayyyyy too many returns due to the ribbon cable malfunctioning on their headunits that featured the D-Mask+ revolving faceplate mechanism there won't be a "serial" number for the cable itself. Sony should have an internal company part number for it but it wouldn't have an actual serial number.

you can get the ribbon you need on ebay for around 30 bucks.

This is my question, from where I can buy this part ??

and how do i know if it will fit ?? it needs to have some serial number ..

please help I don't have money to throw this radio cd to the trash and buy a new one ..
