radio codes?

apparently some stock radios have these when you disconnect them? whats it all about? how do if find/enter the code once i reconnect the stock h/u?

ok, if i disconnect just the turn on wire, will it still prompt mke for a radio code? (i need to connect the amp remote wire to the stock h/u, is there anywhere else i could attach the remote wire?)

yup.. the remote wires can be connected to any 12v power source the come on with the car... basically it's just a turn on signal... if you wired it to your cig lighter it would trun on when you pushed in the cig lighter... if you wire it to your battery it will always be on... just find a wire that only has power when the car is on and you'll be set
