For those of you who have aftermarket single-din radios. Did you guys use the cage that came with your radio or did you use the brackets that came with your dash kit?

I tried the cage but its not secure at all. It moves around too easily. I imagine it moving or breaking if I were to hit an unexpected pot hole or a speed bump to fast. Is there a way to make it more secure?

The plastic brackets hold it a thousand times more secure but I cannot use the beauty plates that came with the dash kit or the radio because the fold down face plate hits both.

So I would rather use the cage if possible because aesthetically, it will look better. What did you guys do? BTW, this is with an 2005 altima.
