Nah I wouldnt think so as It wasnt intended to sound like a review but ifso then mods please shift it to the right area.

just ta add if our little ploddys find it in your car then fines of around $1000-$1500(Aus) will follow and you have to surrender it on the spot.

what are some lower priced radar dectors that are nice? $300 is way to much for a radar dector for the average person...cobra any good?

Which is cheaper....a $300 radar detector, or a $400 speeding ticket? I plan on avoiding those next year in my state, even though I've had my escort for years...

Ive been using the Solo s2 cordless lately and I really like. Not the most powerful but it still works pretty dang well.

I used the solo s2 with my SRX for a while, seemed to work almost as good, the only downside were the batteries,

I was stopped for an 80 in a 65 on an open interstate. $125 ticket, with my attorney's fees it was around $450. If I didn't get a lawyer involved, I would have paid the $125 fine, and paid far, far more than $450 over the next few years in increased insurance premiums...

Just sucks that I go to school in VA, radar detectors = illegal.

really though what are some decent detectors for around $200?? i have a Cobra that i bought for $90 bnib and have contemplated throwing it out the window many times.

Batteries seem to work good for about a month in it. Wish I would have gotten a corded one now after going to radartest webpage, but oh well it works for me!
