I understand your position, and I have honestly considered that very thought (closing the thread and simply making a sticky of the new rule). But for the sake of allowing members to discuss their opinions of the new rule, its been left open. It cannot be helped if a few select members have used this to try and take advantage of their ability to express their discontent. I am of the opinion that Id rather leave the discussion open for fair and honest discontent, even if a trouble maker or two have to be removed. I wont abide by ruining self-expression for everyone, because one or two people want to take advantage of that. Call it baiting if you want, I call it giving people enough rope to hang themselves, if they choose to do so. Its not like we mods have not given ample warnings (be it via statements, or temp bans) to make things clear. If someone wants to allow themselves to be 'baited' into being removed, its their own fault.one word describes this thread.......baitcar
this should have been closed days ago, but the mods are too happy luring people in to give them bannings.
A simple sticky at the top would have sufficed, so people can read it but not respond with their objections no matter how supportive or oppositional they may me.
If one of the mods closed this thread, we would be badmouthed for it. If we leave it open and someone gets themselves banned for continuously pushing their luck too far, we still get badmouthed. Id rather get badmouthed for leaving the discussion open, than for closing it. *shrug*
