Sorry to vent this here, but i'm totally in the dumps right now. One of my childhood friends, as in friends for 25 years, just called me and told me that his 14 month old daughter died last night from choking on some popcorn. He gave her cpr til the EMT's got there and things looked good until they got her on the lifeflight helo. that was taking to children's trauma center. Her little heart just wasn't strong enough to withstand all the cpr and assisted breathing. They affectionately called her Ms. Houston.

i know someone who rolled over and crushed/smothered his kid in bed, didn't knwo until he woke up in the morning. He turned into a total drug addict, but its not real hard to understand.

I usually have a hatred to ****s that start threads like this, but its usually because a TEENAGER or ADULT did something STUPID to end up how they did. While I don't have a clue who any of these people are, any infant that passes is a sad thing. 1 year old in my mind is not a toddler, that is still an infant. She didnt ever get a START at becoming something.

infants mind doesnt really kick in iirc until around 18 months.

he has 2 older sons but my man is a total wreck...i can't imagine his pain. i have 2 boys myself....don't know what i would do.
