When putting a second batt. in back, can i ground the negative of the second batt. to the same place i've grounded the amp??? how would you recommend i do it if not?
actually the way he explaned it there the amp still is grounded to the back batt. the only advantage to going straight to the batt from the amp is he'll make his ground a little shorter which is best.
i love that all my batts are in the back... hmmmmm //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif makes life easy
i'm thinking the amp is grounded to the chassis, and he wants to ground #2 batt to the same point.
which will work. but there is more resistance in the chassis of the car rather than a dedicated wire, which is why i say just ground the battery to the chassis (or better yet the front battery) and go from the amp to the rear battery.
Right. yea My front batt. is grounded to the chassis. I know the best way is to run another wire from front neg. to back neg, which i might do eventually, but do i leave the amp grounded via chassis or connect it to the back batt. as well. Thanks
