"Total" amps?

I saw some amps at a local store that were called "Total", I think. I know the guy said JL Audio bought them and that they were pretty good. I tried to google it and search the board but I cannot find anything. Anyone know anything about these?

There were other brands with Total in the name in the past which I've heard are garbage. These amps are good, great considering the price. I have the 3202 and it sounds really nice doesn't overheat etc. They've just updated their amp line.

I heard they started with some of the old school respectable engineers designing the products, but they've been bought out by JL. This does not mean (as some have suggested) that they are JL amps or any variation thereof. I don't imagine they will be all that close for some time.

Good amps, great price, reputable business.

I believe that 'total' will be JL's new affordable line. Sorta like lighting audio to rockford. Not entirely sure that this is true.

Yes JL bought them out.

I have a total moblie audio T5001 500 rms mono block before i wasnt satisfy with how it push my w6 but after gettin it set properly it sounds amazing. The thing wat i love about it is that it doesnt over heat what so ever even like bumpin for like 2 hours my old Pheonix gold amp use to over heat occasionally.
