"Must own" Xbox 360 games

Which games are the "must-haves" to anyone with a 360. I havent really been keeping up with the new games or anything since i didnt have a 360, but my girl surprised me with an early B-day present and i got a 360 premium a few days ago, now im looking to get some games. I knew COD4 was a must have so i bought that myself immediately and ive borrowed Halo 3 for an undetermined amount of time while my buddies 360 is broke, i just purchased Orange Box off the forum today and im trying to figure out what other games i should grab. My main thing is going to be Xbox live regardless of the game so id like to get good multiplayer games.

I know that when the 360 first came out Gears of War was big, is it still a good game to grab? And any others please.

i've had xbox 360 since it like cameout and bought only one game - burnout lol

actually its a good xbox live game, i havent played the new one but it should be good

and i hear cod 4 owns but personally im sick of shooting games

really? Im debating on grabbing burnout paradise off someone thats selling it on here, but just havent heard enough about it. I played...i think it was burnout 3 on regular xbox, where you crash into other people and stuff?

yea i had burnout revenge - single player game is alright but on live its a great game - get paradise tho since more ppl will prolly be playing that now

I was disappointed with GOW. I got that and Rainbow Six Vegas around the same time, and barely touched GOW, and couldn't put down RB6V.

Right now, must have for me is COD4 and Rock Band. Also, Rainbow Six Vegas 2 comes out tomorrow, I'll be gettin dat fa sho.

dont forget also you can play a lot of demos and watch trailers from xbox live before you buy anything

ya i should check into the demos and trailers.

No guitar hero for me, if i wanted to play with instruments i would buy real ones, not play on a fcking video game. Im more into doing things i cant do in real life...like shooting people and racing exotic cars/fixing them up...that kinda thing. lol

-Project Gotham Racing 4

-Burnout Paradise

These are just good games off the top of my head.

well you can shoot people if you really want too =]

the exotic car thing might be hard.. lol..

oh yea and i had forza for the original xbox - that was a good game too.. might wanna check out forza 2

im so angry they're changing the toca series into grid and making it more arcade like.. toca 3 for the xbox and pc was the best racing game ever.

dirt sucks btw too

Ive been eying PGR4, looks like a good game.

And i know orange box is a good game, and thats why i bought it, but isnt it a sequel to another game? And whats it like?

Ya im also thinking about snagging forza 2, isnt that kinda like a Gran Turismo style game? I really want a game like that..

Ya i didnt like it because you couldnt change the cars, not sure if thats changed or not but i would like that option.
