"modified" Fisher Customs and Sexy 8's PICS

T-nuts have a nasty reputation for backing out when you try to loosen the bolt, instead of holding into MDF, hence having to saw your box open to remove your speaker.
That would **** major donkey dick. I won't be using T-nuts.

Who did you get those RF's from? I wonder if they were the ones I had //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif If you decide to sell the AA's let me know //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Rockford's RFD2208 HX2 dual 4's 400/800
I am interested in these if you decide to part with them.

Subscribed since I want to run a pair of 8's. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif
Ok, I should know this weekend. So I'll let you know.

Got my amp today! PG Xenon 1200.1

I take back what I said about setting up this weekend. I still have to wait on my PG x200.4 to arrive to power front stage //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

With the xenon 1200.1 it does the same power 1-4 ohms. Example I can wire 2 dual 4's to 1 or 4 ohms. How would I dial in the voltage, although I do have a hand held Oscope, but

SQRT of 1200 (1200x1 ohm)= 34.64 v

SQRT of 1200 (1200x4 ohm) = 69.2 v

i might be wrong but arnt those boxes 2 different sizes and do u plan to use both? one looks to be to small for the 8's
Not trying to be an *** to you specifically, but does anybody read or do people just look at the pics?

Note the one pic that the caption above it reads "the piece I'll be using"

T-nuts have a nasty reputation for backing out whnen you try to loosen the bolt, instead of holding into MDF, hence having to saw your box open to remove your speaker. Ive had this happen to me, but didnt have to saw my box up at least I guess. Was still a pita.
I dont know if hurricane nuts are prone to this in MDF also. Never used them.
There are easy ways to solve this, put a little glue on the back of the T-nut before pounding it in, or don't push the screw into the box with all your strength, unscrew it while pulling the screw towards you, voila problems solved.
