"MAN VS. WILD" question

Anyone who watches this show, which is awesome BTW, see's the watches Bear Grylles wears.

Does anyone know what kind of watches he wears on the show. I'm sure its some kinda military or divers watch of some kind, but I need the make of them.

It seems that he wears different models, but they all seem to be pretty much the same make.

i have watched the show a few times, and while i am not sure of the make of the watch, if i had to guess i would say victorinox.

they make a very military/swiss army-esque watch. very solid watches too, i have an old one somewhere that i have had for years, and it takes abuse and keeps going and keeps time perfectly. try seeing if those look like them.

If you are talking about the large watch he wore in the amazon (I think it was the amazon) it was a Breitling emergency, I know because I have had my eye on getting one for a while now.

The watch can send a distress call on the old 243mhz w/ a range of like 500nm; which will inform passing A/C that you are in distress, however the signal is not strong enough to reach the satallites (nor do they monitor that freq). Anywho kick azz watch.

Also Man vs. wild is not all that great, check out "survivor man" not only does this guy really do everything but the poor sob also has to do ALL the camera work, makes man vs wild look like a little school girl

anyone read the article about him staying in hotels and whatnot?
