The time has come to take out my 24 cube spl box and redo my system. I have to use my wifes vehicle anytime I take my daughter out because I couldn't lock down the rear seat in my bronco.

I started by gutting out the inside and fatmatting most of the interior. I cleaned my carpets and fleckstoned all plastic parts. I noticed that my pro60 comp set was coming apart so I ordered a PG RSD6.5 comp set to replace it . They have much better midbass than the pro60 set had and I am very pleased with them, I am considering buying a 2nd set to install also but havent decided yet. My old bos was around 8 cubes each tuned to 40hz. The new box is 4 cubes each tuned to 32hz. I had to read up here and get help for several days before getting the design right as I had forgot most of what I knew about box building. I still have some work left and will post pics as I get more work done. Here is what I have for now.

The job is almost finished. I just have a few things left to do like installing the rear seat belts, clamping down the patch cords and a few other small things. The bass isn't as boomy as my old box but I wanted to give up some db's for a cleaner sound so all is well. I still have to tweak some settings but the auto eq is good enought for now. Here is pictures of the finished product.

you must be a vary secure man, rockin the zebra stripes
Maybe I just like secure men! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif

Couldn't resist that.

My wife has been givin me crap about the stripes all week. I actually painted the trim white and couldn't get it perfect so I went out, got a marker and drew on the stripes which will eventually match the outside of the vehicle. I have a vinyl plotter and was trying to decide how to stripe my white bronco when I came across Ted Nugents bronco. The vehicle body isn't perfect and the vinyl stiping can hide some not so perfect work.
