some of the VERY stiff spl subs need some breaking in if there gonna be used in a low tunned daily box, so the suspension gets a little loose and plays the lows better
My MT's that have 5 stiff spiders need some breaking in at low hz(bellow 35hz) you can tell the suspension is holding them back down there cause they are so darn stiff
I just installed my SE10 and I'm not pushing it hard but I'm not playing softly with it and seems to be fine //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Thanks for clarifying that for me, so what your saying is when I install my Diamond D6 on saturday that there's no need to break it in? I'm just curious because I don't want to damage it.

in the owner's manual i got with my Kicker L7's it ses to allow about two weeks break in time for the sub to reach optimum low bass performance so kicker dos not know what they are saying or is kicker the onely compney that ses a break in is not a myth
