haha yeah took me 2 day's actually cause had everything ran yesterday and all that then i realize i gave me last anl fuse and holder to my friend so had to go and get one today but it did take me a little bit longer then expected but i'll tell ya well well worth it:)//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. i highly suggest the BIG 3:)

Looks pretty good.. only thing: Are those fuses just kind of sitting there? That's the only thing that looks sort of, well.. out of place. Looks like it was just thrown in there.

Looks like he's got at least one of the fuses zip tied down or something, can't really tell. That would definitely be a concern though if the fuse holders are just floppin around in there.

Sorry guy's you can't really see it but that 2nd fuse holder actually does have a zip tie on it i just hid it and you cant really see it in the pic , but don't worry there both secured:). thanks for all the comment's guy's

So, I see you have 2 runs of 4 gauge coming out of your positive battery terminal. I'm assuming the other is for your audio system. Is 4 gauge the biggest size that terminal can handle??

I really hate to threadjack but I also didn't want to start a new thread for the same subject. I was wondering if you guys could answer a couple questions for me.

1. I plan on doing the big 3 as soon as I get some above freezing weather. When my audio system is installed it will be around 1500 to 1600 watts total. Thats including sub amp, midbass amp, midrange amp and tweeter amp (running 4 way active system). This is primarily going to be an SQ vehicle without alot of LOUD volume. I may get on it once in a while but not much. I am going to for sure be running 1/O from the battery to the dist. block in the trunk. My question is what gauge wire should I use for the big 3 upgrade?? Audiobahnuser used 4 gauge but it also looks like he used 4 for his system as well. I'm set on 1/O for the system since its a long run back to the trunk but do I need that big of wire for the big 3??

2. Also, does anyone know a good place to find accessories for this?? I need top mount battery terminals that have atleast one 1/O input. Also need a 4 gauge input.

Any help AND input would be greatly appreciated.

Personally me I would just go 0/1g with the big 3 and call it a day. I am sure you will be satisfied with the results.

For me it's more about how the bigger wire is going to look under the hood. I will loom it of course, but I think I will have more options with the smaller 4 gauge. I don't know at this point. I know you're right and the alt is on the same side of the engine as the battery so it should be easy enough to route.

I had some pretty serious dimming, and all I did was what I call the Big ONE... which is the battery neg to chassis, and it almost completely eliminated my dimming. I did it 4 guage to boot. I'm running a Tantrum 1200.1 and a Kicker SX700.4 and I'm not having any problems.

I would say for a SQ-oriented system you don't need to go overboard.
