If car makers started building aircraft, which would you feel safe flying on? Sure does answer the question on which brands are more relaible haha. "And yes I know which manufacturers build aircraft & aircraft parts" Just a generalized question that makes a lot of people wake up about how un-reliable certain brands are...

Thank you sir, I was always under the impression that it was simply the Bavarian colors and the entire propeller deal was just urban legend relating to BMW's production of plane engines.
