quick wiring question

i just picked up an eclipse da6213 and the manuel is not helping me so heres my question. the smp does 500w x2 at 2 ohms does that mean 2 ohm load all together or a 2 ohm load per channel? Im use to having monoblock amps lol. im trying to wire 2 dual 4 ohm subs thanks

2 ohm altogether.

It means 2ohm per channel. The amplifier will product 250w per channel with a 4ohm load on each channel, and 500w per channel with a 2ohm load on each channel.

Just wire each sub's individual coils in parallel, then wire one subwoofer to each channel and each sub will receive 500w RMS.
