quick tax question (sort of)

a while back i held a short job, at which point i was in an apt in Rialto, California and at my work, i of course used this address.

i am now back in san diego (a good 130 miles away) in another apartment. i never did tell the post office to forward the mail here.

my question is...will my w-2 go to that apt? or do they find out where you currently live before sending the w-2?

will go to the old address if you never setup to forward your mail. You should be able to call them and get a copy though, a lot of places even let you get it online.

cool. thats what i figured but i thought they might just look at the updated dmv address or something similar. thanks
