I currently own an Eclipse 55040 Head Unit. I was wondering if there is a cut off frequency that the subwoofer out put has or does it channel all frequencies. I know there is a volume control but I haven't noticed any thing about crossover built in. If it doesn't have any type of built in crossover for that channel, what would be the point of calling it a sub channel.

I'm not quite sure what you mean but subs have a frequency range that they

will put out. You can change it with cross-overs that are built in the amps

or buy them and put them in line to your subs. I don't know if this helps or not.
