depending on the load of your speaker, it could **** up your tv, most home audio is made for 8ohm speakers. im guessing your sub isnt 8 ohm.

other than that, it just prolly wouldnt get very loud.

my sub is a dual 4 ohm, so it could be wired to 8 ohms....would that work? its a Type R
