Quick Question

Amp rated at 250W at 4 ohms.

Subs rated at 300W a piece at 4 ohms.

Subs wired to 4 ohms.

I know the subs are clearly underpowered but is it safe to turn the gains pretty high with bass boost on to make up for the underpowerage?

sure if you want to clip your subs to death. Bass boost= big no no

Do research on how to set your gains and why you never use bassboost. Your gain is not a volume knob . If your amp is only capable of 250 watts, then you set the gain to 250 watts based off your head unit and that's it. Any higher than that, your sending a nasty signal to your woofer which burns it up.
